Competitive Gaming, On Display

TCL cares about all forms about entertainment. That’s why it was critical to showcase gaming performance on a TCL TV to the brand’s target audience in a big way.

Having a been a regular fixture in the Call of Duty community for many years, TCL partnered with Activision and FaZe Clan to develop a unique tournament in celebration of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s launch and build awareness around TCL’s newest TV lineup.

Hosted inside the historic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, the TCL x Call of Duty Pro Am brought together some of FaZe’s top talent along with their celebrity friends, including Offset, Lil Yachty, SlimJxmmi, and Borgore, for a day of 2v2 action.

The activation not only strengthened TCL’s role in the Call of Duty community, but it was also the perfect torture test to showcase a TCL TV’s gaming performance, holding up to scrutiny of pro gamers when a $50,000 prize for charity was on the line.

The tournament ultimately shattered expectations for long-form video content.

The Pro Am generated nearly 5 million views on YouTube to date, with over 360K hours watched, far exceeding FaZe Clan’s channel average hours watched for a single piece of content (typically between 34K – 110K).
